All league fees shall be paid in full before the start of the team's first game. If the team has not paid in full they will not be given jerseys, will be allowed to play but will receive a 3 point penalty for each player that does not have a jersey.
In order to participant in the playoffs, a player must compete in at least 4 of the 8 regular season games. This prevents random players and/or ringers from ruining the competitive nature and consistency of the league.
Two (2) 20-minute halves; running time until last minute of the 1st half and last two minutes of the 2nd half. The clock will start at the jump ball. Overtime will be decided on Next Basket Wins, whoever scores the Next point wins the game, if fouled and shots are granted, you must hit 2 FTs consecutively to win the game.
Shot Clock - 30 Second Shot Clock will be kept for each possession, the last 10 seconds will be shouted out, on an offensive rebound, shot clock resets to 10 seconds
Teams shoot 1-and-1 on the 7th team foul of each half and 2 shots on the 10th team foul of each half and all fouls thereafter.
FTs will be as such, a player who is fouled on a 2pt or 3pt shot attempt will shoot 1 FT only, if made then team gets that amount of points (2 or 3), if missed the ball is live. This rule goes away under 4 minutes in the second half and returns to regular NCAA rules for FTs. 1and1 is the same as always for the entire game.
Players must wear Next Basket Wins Jerseys. An automatic 3 points will be awarded to the opposing team before the game for each player who does not have the proper league jersey.
● The team that wears the white side of the NBW jerseys will always be the home team on the scoreboard
● If there is a 20 point (or greater) margin with less than 2 minute left in the game,
the game will be stopped. If the game is more than 9 pts at or under a minute the game ends.
● Clocks stops on a made basket under 1 min in the second half. The ball advances on all timeouts under 1 minute in the second half
● Teams get 1 timeout per half and does not carry over, the ball advances on a timeout
● All technical fouls will result in the opposing team receiving two (2) foul shots and possession of the ball.
● Teams will shoot 1-1 on the 7th team foul and will shoot 2 on the 10th and futher team foul.
● Teams can start and finish a game with four (4) players. If a team does not have a minimum of four (4) players by the scheduled start time, the game clock will be started and the opposing team will be up 10-0.
● Overtime consists of Sudden Death or Next Basket Wins. If there is a shooting foul both free throws must be made for the game to end.

● Players are disqualified after the 6th personal foul. Players will be disqualified from the game until there are four (4) players remaining. If any of the remaining four (4) players receives a 5th personal foul, that/those player(s) can continue to play, but two technical foul shots will be assessed on that player’s 6th personal foul and for each additional foul committed by that player.
No jewelry is permitted to be worn during the game. However, flat wedding bands may be permitted as long as they are flat (no diamonds or other stones on the ring) and the ring must be covered with athletic tape, it must be removed prior to entering the game.
The use of profanity, vulgarity, taunting and the verbal abuse of players and officials will not be tolerated. Any such incidents will be penalized with a technical foul. Any repeated conduct of this type will result in an immediate ejection of the player(s) involved, and those players will be subject to disciplinary action.
Fighting will not be tolerated! Anyone involved in a fight will be suspended for a minimum of one game and may be banned from the league. Any type of disciplinary action (including but not limited to suspensions and ejections) will be at the sole discretion of the commissioner.

Teams can start and finish a game with four (4) players. If a team does not have a minimum of four (4) players by the scheduled start time, the game clock will be started and the team will be down 10-0. If a team still does not have the minimum of four (4) players within 10 minutes after the game clock has been started, then that team will forfeit the game. Forfeits are strongly discouraged and will weigh heavily in the seedings at playoff time. Any team that forfeits a game must pay a $125 forfeit penalty before their next scheduled game. All re-scheduling conflicts and requests must be made to the league director within 72 hours of the scheduled game time, if not then the game will end in a forfeit.
Due to scheduling conflicts, playoff games may not be scheduled on the league’s usual night. Teams will be eligible for the playoffs based on total points as follows:
The top teams will make the playoffs.
Playoff Tiebreakers If teams have identical records or point totals at the end of the season, the following tiebreaker rules apply (in order):
1. Team with the fewest number of forfeits
2. Head to head
3. Point Differential (+/-) vs Similar Opponents (PDO)
All other rules not mentioned above will follow NCAA rule book.
